VectorWorks to AutoCAD??

I provide technical drawing services to several local architectural and engineering firms, and I am being pressured by some to switch to AutoCAD to "better comply" with their office standards. Except for some minor glitches, I have experienced no real problems, and am very reluctant to make the change. Also, I am concerned about AutoCAD for Mac. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.See More

Export dwg files

I am preparing construction documents in VW Architect 2009 for a firm that uses AutoCAD. I work with in a design layer with viewports and annotations. I export my drawings (design layer and sheets) as dwg files for their use, however, when the dwg files are imported to AutoCAD, the dimension tick marks and text is very small and unreadable. Also, the arrowheads associated with my notes are not visible. The remainder of the drawings (line weights, colors, patterns, hatches, etc.) appear to…See More
