Windows in Elevations

I recently upgraded from VW 11 to 2010, and having a heck of a time adapting. I'm trying to use viewports to create elevations from my floor plan. For my elevations, I want the windows to be 'opaque' so they don't show objects behind them, and also so I can add brick hatches to my exterior walls. I have tried editing the windows(PIO's) to have a solid fill and no luck. It's not just the glass, but also the trim and muntins that are transparent.
