The iPhone would be a solution, but the touch doesn't feel like buttons, so using it blindly won't really work.

you can use an iphone if you have one http://www.mobilewhack.com/numberkey-iphone-application/ I have this and it works really well. otherwise, you can visit an electoronics store (dick smith, radio shack) and purchase a usb keypad.

Hi, I solved this installing KeyRemap4MacBook. It works and now I can use the same keys I used on my PowerBook on my Unibody to simulate numpad.

Numpad on unibody Macbook Pro

Hi,I might have to change my MacBook Pro (pre-unibody) and I would of course like to get a unibody MacBook Pro. But it lacks the internal numpad without which I can't work with Vectorworks. I travel a lot so an external keyboard sounds like a very bad idea to me.Does anybody have a solution to that?See More
