"can you post some pictures of what you are seeing. Vectorworks doesn't do this for me. Copy the information from Word. Use the Database manager to add a new note. Paste your text. check the note in the Database manager. "

Importing notes into VW notes database

Does anyone know how to import notes into VW from an external source - Microsoft Word or similar. I have literally reams of notes which I would love to bring into the VW database, as well as NBS Specifications, but I cannot seem to find a way of importing into the database. The problem I have is that it is easy to copy and paste from the clipboard, but the VW database insists on annotating the notes with a prefix of 01 / 02 / 03 etc for every database entry - Can this be overcome ? - Is there a…See More
