VW classes at FIT (New York area)

No, we don't want VectorWorking to become a series of advertisements. That said, right now, there's not much else happening in the world of Vectorworks other than lots of people knuckling down and getting projects done or brushing up on their VW skills.

FIT has been offering Vectorworks classes to their students and local industry folk for the last couple of years. We are expanding our section roster!

If you're in the NY-NJ-CT area who want to learn Vectorworks, or need to make the jump from an early version to the most recent, or just want to brush up on your skills, we can help.

CAD for Visual Presentation — featuring VectorWorks!
DE 125 CAD for Visual Presentation
2 credits $310 (non-NY State $928.00)
This course introduces two-dimensional computer drafting. Using VectorWorks, students draw plans and elevations for visual presentation and exhibition design projects.

We are offering three sections of the class:

Monday Evening 6:30 – 9:20 (instructor Troy Williams)
Thursday Evening 6:30 - 9:20 (instructor Troy Williams)
Saturday Day 10:00 – 1:00 (instructor Cris Dopher)

Classes begin on February 1

Course Description:
This course builds VectorWorks skills and introduces 3D CAD techniques utilizing VectorWorks. These courses enable designers to develop and revise their concepts in 3D. Software is used to conceptualize and create line drawings and color renderings of design projects for visual presentation.
