For those of you who are interested, all of our tools have been updated (VideoScreen, Staging ToolSet, SoftGoods, Audio ToolSet, and StageLift). Most of the changes have to do with creating versions for Vectorworks 2011 and aligning our tools' internal texture creation with the new Cinema 4D rendering engine. The other modifications are mostly arcane bug fixes and minor tweaks (such as the addition of the "Surface Area" OIP Parameter in StageDeck and StagePlug).
These updates are free-of-charge to current license holders. For the time-being, simply use your original download link and password. If you're not a current user and would like more information, please stop by www.landrudesign.com.
That's about it for our news from our end of things. Have a great weekend!

The calculations for the audience proejction were handled by Peter Neufeld...using Vectorworks. Hoping to hear more about that in the days to come...

Hello all-
Like Ian, I'm just finding my way around the site.
It's been an interesting week for large live venues...last Sunday, the Super Bowl half time show seemed to work without a hitch...but on Friday the Olympic flame lighting was delayed with an automation problem...and that problem overshadowed the incredible projection during the opening of the games.
Looking for anyone with specifics on either event...

Hi folks; i just joined this forum, great to be here. i'm frantically assembling corrections for the second printing of the second edition of my book "A Practical Guide to Stage Lighting". The publisher wanted any changes by December 15th... . if anyone has noticed anything odd, peculiar, or just plain wrong in the text please feel free to contact me and let me know what needs to be fixed. thanks in advance for any comments, Steve Shelley [MrTemplate@earthlink.net]
