Is there a way to cycle through the selection of objects?  In other words, I have two objects directly on top of one another, or share an intersection, and I want to highlight one to modify.  But, I do not know how to indicate which object I want to modify, and I end up moving one object out of the way and then moving it back, or I have to place objects on different classes to then turn on and off...

thanks.

I usually cut (command -x) the object, edit the other one, and then paste in place (option -command -v) again.

Or move it by a certain distance (comm. -m, say 1m or 10m), edit and then move back (comm. -m and add the minus sign). With practice it doesn´t take very long.

I hope it helps.

Thanks for the shortcuts on moving things out of the way.  I have been using similar technique, but I think this is faster.

What I was hoping to hear from you, and others, is that there is a way to highlight objects prior to selecting them.  But let me ask this, when there are multiple objects in a space, how does VW determine which one to select?

On the info palette there is a small icon with three dots. Click on it and it will let you edit one objet by one, moving with the right and lefy arrows. But the editing  is limited on what you can do in the fields of the info palette. I wish too there was a way of saving a selection.

No.  Or rather, not how you would like.  Try 'Send Backwards' or 'Send to Back' until the object you want is on top...?  Not ideal, I admit.  This is a tool lots of my clients have asked for.
