I'm trying to work with the section VP to do my all my working drawings. But I have to send them for other offices and they have to work with them. But a lot of section VP's are not exporting well, with a lot of lines that should not be there, and sometimes exploded 2d shapes, some of them just goes correctly into DWG files. To see if everything went Ok I import them into VW again or just use a free Bentley free viewer.
Since I can't deliver all the sections only in PDF, I'm curious if someone else is dealing with the same problems.
What are you doing about it? Do someone have an idea that might help us?

I'm using VW2010 Architect and trying to find a real-world way to work correctly with VW and BIM, this is one of the problems that I'm finding to collaborate with other platforms.

if exporting is important, maybe the cut 3D section command and explode to 2D would be better.
Hey Jonathan, thank you a lot! I was really considering this. Actually I'm using that trim comand, that one that looks like a knife. This tool cuts 3d geometry better than the actual 3d section command. I make a copy of the 3d model walls, floors etc... than in 3d I select all the walls and use the add solids command, than I add the floors in this 3d solid generated by the walls, and after that I use the knife (trim). A
The result is a very nice and clean 3d section.
Today I did it with a study of a new house and the result was very good. It took half an hour to have all my 3d sections but the 3d sections generated by this process are very clean.
I could see that you are very important in the VectorWorks community, so thank a lot for your reply! And I am really sorry about my english mistakes!
Attached here there are 3 images one from this process the second from the 3d section command and the last one the result that I've got today at the office.
