I have created a custom title block for our firm, and I was wondering if there is a way to include a north arrow symbol that was parametric. We tend to include the arrow on all our sheets even if it is not needed. Prior to creating this title block (symbol) we used a group and symbols which we just copied and pasted into each sheet as needed. As such, the group contained the north arrow symbol (also, just a group of lines) which got rotated for the 1st sheet, and replicated. As we move into the parametric era, I would like to include the arrow into the title block, but I am going at it blindly.
And, how would I go about creating my own north arrow symbol - is the process similar to how I go the title block into the "standard title block" file? If so, where is the north arrow file stored? I have the same questions for all the other labels (i.e. reference markers, elevation tags, drawing labels, etc.)
Any suggestions, or tips?
Thanks.
