Water-efficient Landscape Design with Vectorworks 2011 Test Drive (1 APLD CEU)

Designing landscapes with sustainability in mind is no longer a matter of preference, but one of meeting jurisdictional requirements. Site design professionals can expect Vectorworks Landmark’s software to not only make their current design workflows easier, but also to help meet the new obligations in water-efficient site design. By incorporating the water needs of proposed plants, designing hydro zones for irrigation, and calculating water budgets, Vectorworks Landmark software can help you to design beautiful landscapes that maximize water efficiency.

• Learn how each plant's water needs become qualifiers in a proposed landscape
• See how plant data is stored in the Plant Database and how to create plant palettes using the Plant Place tool

Machines for participants will not be provided and each attendee is required to bring their own personal laptop or desktop computer with the Vectorworks 2011 software installed. The software may be either your own registered license or you may obtain and install a functional 30-day evaluation prior to arriving to the test drive.
